Resources and Reserves \u2013 \u201cCBRR\u201d was established in 2015, formed by the alliance of three of the most important and representative associations in the Brazilian mineral sector:<\/p><ul><li><em>Brazilian Association of Mineral Research Companies \u2013 ABPM<\/em><\/li><li><em>Agency for Development and Innovation of the Brazilian Mineral Sector \u2013 ADIMB<\/em><\/li><li><em>Brazilian Mining Institute \u2013 IBRAM<\/em><\/li><\/ul><div><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/div><p>On May 5, 2015, CBRR signed a memorandum of understanding with CRIRSCO, establishing the procedure for the formal acceptance of CBRR into CRIRSCO, which formally took place on November 30, 2015, thus making CBRR and Brazil the ninth country and Representative Organization of CRIRSCO.<\/p><p>CBRR is a private, non-profit organization focused on establishing, promoting, and managing efforts to foster and develop the Brazilian mineral sector. Its initiatives include: dissemination of global best practices in engineering and geology, guidelines for declaring Exploration Results, Mineral Resources, and Mineral Reserves in accordance with CRIRSCO standards, management of the certification process, and a database of Registered Qualified Professionals in Brazil.<\/p><p>The CBRR registers professionals, and as part of the registration process, determines areas of qualification.
