A geologist with a degree from UFOP, he has 42 years of experience in mineral exploration and project development for various companies. He has worked on Au, Base Metals, Iron, and Mn projects. He held positions at Paranapanema, AngloAmerican, and AngloGold and was Exploration Director at Jaguar Mining. He is currently a mineral exploration consultant.
