Geologist graduated from UnB in 2002 with a master's degree in applied geophysics. He holds a qualification in Resource Estimation from CBRR. He has extensive experience in management, mineral exploration, and resource estimation for open-pit and underground mines. He is currently responsible for Vale's Geology and Exploration Management Department in the Northern Ferrous Minerals Region, overseeing over 200 people.
