Mining Engineer (UFOP/1997), Master's degree in Mine Closure (UFOP/2009), MBA in Mining from USP, and postgraduate degree in Business Administration from UFSJ. He has experience in mine and plant operations, mine closure, and mining law, having worked in Vale's iron ore and manganese ore businesses. He is currently a specialist engineer in Mining Law at Vale Ferrosos.
