At a breakfast meeting held during Exposibram 2019, the CBRR (Brazilian Commission of Resources and Reserves) discussed, among Advisors and Registered Qualified Professionals (RQPs), some important topics for the sector, such as expectations regarding the updating of conduct aligned with international practices and CRIRSCO, and the discussion of issues such as: contributing to the regulation of Article 9, paragraph 4 of Decree 9.406, with widespread dissemination and clarification; the offering of training courses (the next one will be in Salvador, on September 30th and October 1st); increasing the number of RQPs in Brazil; revision of the CBRR Guide; recognition of new professional categories in various disciplines (specialist professionals); and the development of a guide for the economic evaluation of mining projects and rights.
